Azarias Training Ltd works in close partnership with schools to deliver high-quality Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions at Bronze, Silver, and Gold level. We provide reliable, well-organised, and supportive expedition provision, allowing school staff to focus on their students while we manage the practical delivery.
Azarias Training Ltd offers Open Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions for young people who do not have access to DofE through their school, or who need to complete an expedition section independently.
Our open expeditions provide the same high standards of planning, supervision, and care as our school-based programmes, with a strong focus on safety, confidence-building, and positive experiences.
Who Are Open Expeditions For?
Open expeditions are suitable for young people who:
Are completing DofE independently
Attend a school that does not offer DofE
Need to complete a missing or delayed expedition section
Prefer a smaller group or more supported environment
We welcome participants at Bronze, Silver, and Gold level.
What Participants Can Expect:
From first contact to expedition completion, we aim to make the process clear and supportive.
Clear pre-expedition information and joining instructions
Support with preparation, kit, and route planning
Experienced supervisors and accredited DofE assessors
